Canon Edward Glackin, Parish Priest of St. Columba’s, Viewpark died peacefully at Wishaw General Hospital on Monday 18th January 2016. Canon Glackin was fortified by Rites of Holy Church.

Funeral Arrangements for Canon Glackin
Reception of Canon Eddie’s mortal remains to St. Columba’s Church, Viewpark on Sunday 24th January 2016 at 6.30pm followed by the usual Sunday evening Mass.
Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Viewpark on Monday 25th January at 11.30am, interment thereafter to Cambusnethan Cemetery, Wishaw.
Priests wishing to concelebrate are asked to bring alb and purple stole.
Lord you gave Edward your servant and priest
the privilege of a holy ministry in this world.
May he rejoice for ever in the glory of your kingdom.
