12th-18th February 2017 is Catholic Education Week when we pray for and promote Catholic Education in Scotland. This year's theme is “Developing as a Community of Faith and Learning”.
A special collection will be taken up in your parish around this time to support the work of the Scottish Catholic Education Service (SCES) and many parishes will also have representatives from local Catholic School join them for Sunday Mass.
To mark Catholic Education Week and raise awareness of the unique and important contribution that Catholic schools make to Scotland, Sancta Familia Media have produced this great video which includes interviews with pupils, teachers and Chaplains from schools across Scotland, discuss why Catholic Education is so important.
