It is with sadness we convey to you the news that Deacon Angus MacKinnon has died.
Deacon Angus was ordained for Dunkeld Diocese in St John’s Church in Perth on 6th March 1999 but was deacon in St Mary’s Parish in Whifflet from 2000 to 2011 when he retired to his home in Bathgate.
The funeral for Deacon Angus will be held in St Mary’s Church in Bathgate on Friday 16th March at 10.00 am, with his mortal remains being received into the Church prior to the Mass. Clergy wishing to concelebrate or take part are ask to bring an alb and purple stole.
May the Lord who chose him to serve Him as a deacon, number him among his chosen in heaven.
