25 years of ministry for Fr Brown

Congratulations to Fr Michael Brown, Parish Priest of Holy Family, Mossend, who celebrates his Silver Jubilee today on the Feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist.

Fr Brown was ordained on 24th June 1998 in his home parish of St Barbara’s Muirhead. Over the last 25 years he has served as an Assistant Priest of St Bride’s East Kilbride, Army Chaplain, Assistant Priest of Sacred Heart Bellshill, Parish Priest of St Gerard’s Bellshill, Parish Priest of St Brendan’s Motherwell and now Parish Priest of Holy Family, Mossend. He has also served as a High School Chaplain to Cardinal Newman Bellshill, Chaplain to Wishaw General Hospital and Territorial Army Chaplain.
