Canon William O'Sullivan RIP

It is with great regret that we advise of the death at 10.30 this morning of Canon Willie O'Sullivan.

Canon O'Sullivan was born in Cork on 15th May 1933 and ordained for the Diocese of Motherwell in Carlow on 8th June 1957, aged 24 years

He was Assistant Priest in five parishes:

St Thomas' Wishaw 1957

St Cuthbert's Burnbank 1960

St Mary's Cleland 1967

St Bride's, East Kilbride 1970

St Joseph's Blantyre 1975

From 1974 to 1975, the Canon worked in the Missions

And parish priest at:

St Andrew's Airdrie 1982

St Barbara's Muirhead 1984

The Canon was installed as a Canon in 2008 and retired from St Barbara's to Carlow in 2011
