Bishop Toal will celebrate the annual Motherwell Diocesan Lourdes Hospitality Mass in St Francis Xavier’s, Carfin, on Sunday 6th October at 3pm. An invitation is extended to everybody.
This Mass is being celebrated this year in October, a month dedicated to Our Lady and close to the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary on October 7th. It seems a fitting time to gather in honour of Our Lady of Lourdes at her National Shrine and to seek her intercession in all our needs.
During the recent National Pilgrimage at Carfin, we reflected on the theme of Pilgrims of Prayer in preparation for the Holy Year of 2025, and our Diocesan Mass in October offers an opportunity to gather again in this same spirit, looking ahead to the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes next year. Hopefully we will know soon when that will be.
