Please pray for the repose of the soul of Father Aidan D'Arcy, a retired priest of our Diocese, who sadly died on 1st July 2021 in the Little Sister of the Poor Co. Cork, Ireland.
Father D'Arcy was ordained for the Diocese of Motherwell in 1949 and served as Assistant Priest of St James' Coatbridge, Our Lady of Lourdes East Kilbride and St Serf's Airdrie and as Parish Priest of St Bernard's Coatbridge and St Joseph's Blantyre from where he retired to his native Ireland in 1994.
May he rest in peace, Amen.
