Fr Jim Thomson, Parish Priest of St John Bosco's Easterhouse and Diocesan Treasurer, has also served as Chaplain to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service for over 30 years.
A special ceremony was held in his honour on Monday March 28, at headquarters in Cambuslang where he was presented with a commemorative axe by Deputy Chief Officer Ross Haggart in recognition of his incredible service.
