The independent Safeguarding Audit of the Diocese of Motherwell was made public on Monday 19th July and can be read below.
Bishop Toal and all involved in the Motherwell Diocesan Safeguarding Team are happy to receive the report and are committed to building on its positive findings so as to improve this essential aspect of the Church’s life and mission. We are grateful to all contributed to the audit and to everyone who works in our parishes and organisations to ensure that the Church in Motherwell Diocese is a safe place for everybody, especially the young and the vulnerable.
