At the Mass to celebrate the Gift of Married Life, held in the Cathedral on Thursday, 27th January,
the Bishop presented Michael and Norah Hartley with the Diocesan Medal of Honour in
recognition of their work for the Diocesan Family Life Agency since 2001.
Their development and delivery of the Diocesan Marriage Preparation Course has been
especially important and the Diocese is most grateful for all the assistance they have given to
couples preparing for marriage.
As a Diocese we thank them for their great commitment and ask the Lord’s blessing upon them.
