On Thursday, 28th June 2019, Bishop Toal ordained Father Charles Coyle to the Sacred Priesthood in his home Parish of St Columbkille's Rutherglen. Charles studied for the priesthood at the Pontifical Scots College, Rome, and is the first of four men to be ordained for the Diocese of Motherwell this year.
