Congratulations to Sir Tom Clarke, former MP for Coatbridge, Chryston and Bellshill, on receiving a knighthood in the New Year’s Honours.
In 2016 he was made a Papal Knight of the Order of St Gregory by Bishop Toal in his home parish of St Augustine's and the Diocese is delighted to hear of this further recognition for his public service as an MP.
