MISSION STATEMENT
The Youth Ministry team exists in order to bring the young people of the Diocese of Motherwell into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through lived experience of the community of the Church.

We support local parish communities within the Diocese, enabling them to set up and sustain their own youth ministry.
We bring together young people who are engaged in parish youth ministry through organising and promoting Diocesan, national and international events and pilgrimages.
PARISH YOUTH MINISTRY
Young Adult Ministry is a fruit of the new Office of Mission and Evangelisation. Parish Youth Ministry is specifically developed to evangelise the young generation of our Church in a Parish environment and to improve the involvement of youth in our local Parish communities. Effective youth ministry is fully supported and sustained by the parish community where young people are provided the opportunity to learn, grow, share and serve. This will mean that parishes will become a central ‘hub’ for young adults to meet as they walk through the different stages of life in education and work, giving them a sense of belonging to the Church through the parish community and creating evangelisers for tomorrow.
